154 days

Well its only 154 days until camp and I’m ready to pack already! I got some awesome christmas presents this year that have set me up for camp! A rucksack (Yep I have gone for a rucksack as I have no idea what my travel plans are going to be until I get to camp so I thought best option would be a rucksack.) I got some microfibre towels which fold up really small for when I’m travelling around, they are also super light means more room in my rucksack! (you can get them from mountain warehouse) a map of the US so I can have a think about where I fancy visiting before i go and very useful for when I’m actually there! Oh and you might think I’m a bit crazy but I’ve got a waterproof jacket as I’ve been told It can actually rain in where I’m going which btw is Georgia  :) The rest of my presents were perfumes, chocolates and bath and shower stuff enough to keep me going until I jet off to Camp! I’ve been chatting to a lot of people going to the same camp as meand they are just as excited as me. We’ve been planning lots of exciting things we can do at camp for the kids (flashmobs, Colour war, dinner time randomness, evening activities, even more randomness) I think our camp director might think we are all crazy when he finally meets us and some of these activities come in to play. But it will all create an amazing summer for the kids at camp! I figured now christmas is over it actually might fly by. Anyways for now. Hope you all had a great christmas and for those still waiting I hope you get placed soon! :D

Merry Christmas

Just thought I’d message all you Camp America bloggers a Merry Christmas as I will not be on here tomorrow. I also want to thanks the Camp America for giving me the best christmas present ever with a place at what looks like an amazing camp. So so excited about summer 2014.I have spoken to some pretty awesome people already who I will be spending my summer with. So Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all And to those who are ready to be placed, be patient and the perfect camp for you will find you soon and good luck to those going to the recruitment fairs. x

I've been placed!!

OH MY WORD! I’ve just had a skype interview and been placed!!! At . As the Camp Photographer!!!

The interview was nothing to worry about, I worried over nothing it was literally just a chat about the camp a bit about what I do and my skills. The camp leader pretty much had in mind already about what he wanted me for. He told me loads about the camp, its got me soo excited already! 

I could not be happier!! absolutely over the moon!! :D Soooo Excited!!

Skype interview

Wow I just got an email asking if I’d like to have a skype interview tomorrow!!!! Sooo sooo exciting but soo nervous! The camp looks absolutely amazing and its in such a great location! So fingers crossed! Sat thinking about questions they might ask me and what I would like to ask them. If anyone has any advice feel free to message me :) I’ll put some details up of the camp if all goes well.

Ready to be Placed

 :) Eeek!! I’m ready to be placed finally! after just under a month after my interview. Had a few problems with my references at first but all sorted and i’m here ready to be placed! I can’t wait to find out where I am going to be going. What Camp I’l be at and i’m sure i’m going to be refreshing my emails and Camp Direct constantly now until I’m placed! Hi I’m Harriet Noble 21 from Yorkshire! :)

So I have made a decision with the help of my mum to participate in the Camp America programme, after sending my application off along with my Application video to my interviewer, he invited me to an interview in Leeds at StarBucks where he chatted through my application with me told me stories about when he went to camp (he met his wife there who he is having twins with). He has given me some amendments

to do and once they have been done my application will start circulating
